We took our first official family vacation this week. It started by visiting my dad for Thanksgiving. At which point we goofed off immensely, doing stuff like THIS. Enjoyed some good food, family and just general fun.
Then we drove to Pocatello and stayed in a hotel for a night. We grabbed pizza and junk food and headed back to our room to watch Christmas movies and stuff our faces, went swimming, slept, woke up in the morning and went swimming again at 8am. This all play and no work prompted Jaime to exclaim "Whetts stay hewe fowevew!!" She had a point - but we realized that would only have lasted as long as the next credit card cycle, so we packed up and left on time :).
Made a few fun stops on the way home, and walla! Our first family vacation. Not too shabby.
