On Friday our sweet Vida Jayne will be four months old. I cannot adequately describe how much we love her. When I look into the eyes of my children, I am absolutely sure there's never been more beautiful creatures on the earth. Is this a normal feeling? I'm sure it is. No doubt, this kind of love has been around ever since there where children and yet it seems so specific to me and my children.

She is happy, easy going and a great eater. Her height is striking and I still can't stop kissing those delectable cheeks! Her coordination is increasing impressively. Rolling over is a cinch, grabbing toys a no-brainer and she has her sights set on crawling. She's starting to notice our food and grab at it. We've let her try a banana and she couldn't get enough.

We all love her dearly. Including Jaime. Whenever Vida wakes up, Jaime rushes over to her and yells "Hi Vida Jayne!" in the cutest, dorkiest imitation of my baby-voice. She also insists on trying the activities Vida is engaged in - sitting in baby chairs, having tummy time, and even being swaddled.

Why do I love them so much? Oh yeah, those eyes...

I was going to say I just LOVE Vida's eyes in the first picture! Such a beautiful color! I can't quite put a name to the color, but just downright gorgeous.
