Juliana

I got to spend a whole week with my big sister!  She came to visit, help out, and see my girls.

Jaime and I also got to spend time with her adorable son, Ryan.  We got a lot of the movie Cars 2, as Ryan is the biggest Cars fan I've ever met.

We took a trip to the duck pond that's in our neighborhood just around the  corner from our house.  The ducks are brazen - so brazen that they'll literally stand atop our feet to get bread, and so aggressive they don't think twice about snapping at bread-holding kid fingers.  We've gone there enough times Jaime's now terrified.

We also spent some time with our sister-in-law and her two, soon to be three, little girls!

These little girls just can't get enough of holding the baby, lucky for them they'll be getting one of their own in February!

It was a fun week during which Ryan and Jaime got to know each other.  There's no counting the number of times I heard "Ronny pooosh Daime" and Jaime's screams of rage and retaliation.  But in the end, they really did learn to love each other and I would hear "Yay! Ronny!!" the moment she realized Ryan was still here in the morning.

Sadly, we said goodbye to them today, but not before we took a picture of the girls wearing the matching dresses Juliana bought for them.

We sure wish they lived closer.
