That's right.  He has surpassed a quarter of a century!  Yesterday was his birthday, and although we were both exhausted from a long night with our girls, we managed to have a little fun.

We spent some time in the morning together, eating a great breakfast and opening a couple of presents.  Then he went off to work, got taken out to lunch and I got busy working on his cake.  It turned out great!  Chocolate Zucchini Cake, saturated with chocolate sauce and topped with homemade cream cheese frosting.  So good.

We invited Bryce and Michelle to come and enjoy some cake with us.  His work also bought him a Costco-sized cheesecake and he brought home over half of it after his office had their fill.

Twenty-six candles and two guests later, our celebration was complete!
