My sweet Vida Jayne is six days old today.
She's so big. I was shocked at her initial 8lbs 5oz and am still amazed by her chubby cheeks, even though they're decreasing in size daily.
She has dark hair not much longer than peach fuzz and her eyes appear to be a dark grayish color that I believe will change to brown in the coming months.
She is so sweet. I love cuddling her and cannot help stroking her soft head almost every time I feed her. She's been so easy-going and I hope it continues.
So sweet, so precious - the essence of the miracle of life. We are completely in love with her.
